At LifeSTROKES Swim School, the safety of our swim families and staff members are our #1 priority! We are so thankful to be able to continue offering a safe and fun learning environment for your family using our state-of-the-art Ultraviolet light system. Along with the effects of chorine being present, the water filters through the UV system at an amazing 220 gallons per minute.
To create an even safer environment for you, the following changes have been implemented:
ONE adult per family may enter the building when you see the blue flag
Grab child's wrist band, remove outer clothing, child will sit under their teachers sign, and adult exit the building
When you see the white flag, come back inside and wait on a X while your child exits the pool room.
Promptly change in to dry clothing and exit the building
We have always taken great pride in the cleanliness of our facility. You will notice an increase in our disinfecting efforts with special attention to high traffic areas and commonly touched surfaces. Furthermore, sanitizer is available at the front desk and on the counter in each restroom for your use.
Toys and pool equipment are also sanitized between each use.
Removal of communal spaces
We have removed the toys and benches from the play area to reduce the number of surfaces children
can encounter while in our facility.
Safer Staffing Solutions
LifeSTROKES staff will wear a face covering when coming in direct contact with our swim students and families outside of the pool room. Employees that are in the pool room will maintain a safe distance when applicable, however, they will continue to assist as needed to provide the safest environment for our students to learn and grow.
Please no patrons allowed in the facility through the duration of your childs lesson. We ask that you enter to promptly drop off child and to pick up. When in the building please stand on an X and maintain a safe distance
from others while in our swim school.
Swim family health assessment
We ask that you closely monitor you and your swimmer’s health. We ask that if your child shows any
symptoms of the following: cough, fever, chest congestion, headache, or any other early symptoms
related to COVID-19 that you do not participate in group lessons.
To maintain the integrity of our
classes, both to content and size, we do NOT offer any make-up lessons.
To maintain 25% capacity, our observation room is closed to all parents and families, 1 adult per family can accompany their child into the facility. Adults will watch for a blue flag to signal that it is safe to enter the facility for drop off. Drop off will begin approximately 10 min’ prior to the students class time, DO NOT ENTER facility until the blue flag is out. Once you are in the facility to drop off please help your child remove any outer layers, use the restroom, grab a wrist band and sit under teachers sign. Once your child is sitting safely under their teachers sign, in the care of our staff members, the accompanying adult must exit the facility immediately with all their child’s belongings. Upon arrival please have your child already dressed in their swimsuits as the family changing rooms and locker rooms are closed for drop off and only available for pick up to allow staff plenty of time to disinfect between classes.
Adults will watch for a white flag to signal that it is safe to enter the facility for pick up. Pick up will begin no sooner than 2 minutes prior to the end of their student’s class time, DO NOT ENTER facility until white flag is out. Students will exit the pool room through the door that is directly off the observation room. Adults are asked to wait for their child in the observation room while standing on the X’s to ensure social distancing is always maintained. Staff will ensure that your child is reunited safely to you. Families are allowed 10 minutes to quickly change children into dry clothing, grab a sucker and exit the facility. We ask that you use one of the four private family changing rooms or stand on a X in the locker rooms to change your child and ensure that social distancing is being maintained.
Unfortunately, we must reinstate our no make-up policy to ensure that 25% capacity is always maintained. We thank you for complying with the most current Directive Health Measures your cooperation helps keep our doors open. God bless you and yours!
Please note that these are fluid procedures as things change quickly due to health mandates and
weather patterns. We will do our best to update the website in a timely manner but the most up to date
